Dave Powers, PT, DPT, MA, MBA

Doctor of Physical Therapy

Dave has been a Physical Therapist for more than 40 years. He has graduate degrees in Management and Business and his Doctorate degree in Physical Therapy. He has extensive experience and training in management and leadership yet has maintained his hands-on clinical skills throughout his professional career, completing Kaiser’s Advanced Orthopaedic Residency Program.

Dave is presently the Owner and Chief Executive Officer for CHEAR and Camarillo Aquatics and Rehabilitation Services, LLC in Camarillo California. His clinic provides physical therapy and occupational therapy. His comprehensive rehabilitation programs cover services from pediatrics to geriatrics. He has integrated wellness and fitness programs into his clinic. Dave maintains a home physical therapy practice on the Westside of Los Angeles. He sees patients with mainly orthopaedic and neurological conditions.

Projects have been done for Acute Care Hospitals, Rehab Hospitals, Skilled Nursing Facilities, Universities, Health clubs, Private Practices, Medical clinics, the State of California, the City of Los Angeles, the City of Monterey. Dave has also consulted on more than 1000 legal cases involving rehabilitation. He is a Rehab Adviser for CNA Insurance Company out of Chicago, having worked on cases across the country. He has been a contractor for the State of California Licensing Board.

Dave holds clinical faculty position at Mount St. Mary’s College, where he teaches Health Care Administration for the graduate students. He has taught at Loma Linda University, Western University, California State University Northridge, University of Southern California and University of California Los Angeles School of Public Health. Dave has stayed actively involved in the American Physical Therapy Association and the rehab community, holding local, state and national offices.


Nadia Donatelli-Garrett MPT, PT

Nadia earned her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from Mount St. Mary’s College, December 2001. She has remained board certified in Physical Therapy since May 2002. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from UCLA in 1995.

Nadia’s main areas of focus in Physical therapy are Orthopedic and Spinal Care. She specializes in core/trunk stabilization and hydrotherapy and has years of experience. She is an avid learner, always striving to provide the best care for her patients by drawing from a variety of techniques, staying current with research, and learning from other rehabilitation specialists. She enjoys working with patients of all ages, from different cultures, and with various levels of physical activity.

Her areas of expertise are observing and assessing movement, choosing treatment strategies to improve dysfunctional movement, and educating patients on causes of, and ways to avoid, injuries. She is a strong advocate of fitness, and partners with her patients to help them reach their optimal level of conditioning.

She continues to attend continuing education courses and live seminars. Most recently, she has attended extended live seminars: Upper and Lower Quadrant at USC Orthopedic Boot Camp, at USC Division of Biokinesiology and Physical Therapy, in order to advance her hands-on orthopedic skills.

A resident of Pacific Palisades, Nadia was born and raised in Milan, Italy. She is married with 3 children. In her free time, Nadia enjoys exercising, traveling to Italy, fashion, and gourmet food.


Ellen Kohler, PT

Ellen graduated from the University of Missouri-Columbia in 1975. After 16 years of practice she attended the Kaiser Permanente, LA Advanced Orthopaedic Residency Program. Subsequently she became Board Certified in Orthopaedics and continues to treat patients with various orthopaedic disorders.

Ellen is an active member of the American Physical Therapy Association (APTA), the Orthopaedic Section and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Manual Physical Therapist (AAOMPT).


Elisa Marks, OT, CEAS, CHT

Elisa is currently an Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist and Certified Ergonomic Assessment Specialist. Previously she has held the positions of Outpatient Therapy Supervisor at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Beverly Hills California. She is the author of several nationally promoted webinars in topics related to hand therapy and has been a published commentator in the Journal of Hand Surgery. Elisa is also the owner of Fearless Seminars, a continuing education provider for Occupational Therapists. She has held consulting positions with Medicare and serves as a consultant for Quality Assurance for Optum Health. Nationally, Elisa has served in leadership positions for the American Occupational Therapy Association.

A resident of Pacific Palisades, Elisa has two young sons and can be found frequently volunteering at their school when not helping patients.


Lisa Plume PT

Lisa graduated from CSULB with a Master’s in Physical Therapy in 2003. She has worked primarily in outpatient orthopedic settings including the Bay Area, Hawaii, and Southern California. Her knowledgebase includes Kinesio Taping (2004), Pilates Instruction (through Balanced Body, 2006) including Pre-Natal & Post-Partum conditions, Manual techniques (2004-present), Myofascial Decompression (UCSF, 2013), and Redcord (Core Conditioning, 2015). She became a Board Certified Orthopedic Specialist (2010-2020) and has worked with infants to elderly to treat Myofascial Pain, pre/post-operative and degenerative conditions, repetitive strain injuries, and balance disorders. She was brought into this field through her love of dancing, fascinated by the movement of the human body, she applies her dance background to help her patients.
